The award-winning, record-breaking Bombardier Global 7500 business jet made its debut at the biennial Singapore Airshow held this week at the Changi Exhibition Centre. Bombardier says the ultra-long-range jet is the largest and longest-range business aircraft certified and in service.

Long Distance Flights? No Problem

Thanks to its 7,700-nautical mile (14,260-kilometer) range, the 19-passenger Global 7500 can make long-distance connections from Singapore to San Francisco, Hong Kong to New York City, and Melbourne to Los Angeles. Bombardier, which entered the jet into service in 2018 and delivered the 150th unit in September 2023, says the plane has a fleet dispatch reliability topping 99.8% through more than 100,000 flight hours.

“The Global 7500 aircraft is the perfect choice for our Asia-Pacific customers seeking the finest business jet for long-distance travel,” says Jean-Christophe Gallagher, executive vice president of aircraft sales and Bombardier Defense. “It is also a capable option for specialized and defense clients who need a reliable workhorse for a variety of missions.”

A History Of Stellar Performance

The Global 7500 pairs its excellent long-range capability with a top speed of Mach 0.925. In addition to setting numerous city pair speed records, the jet completed an 8,225-nm (15,232-km) flight in late 2019 from Syndey to Detroit, business aviation’s longest-ever recorded flight, says Bombardier.

The airplane, which boasts an all-new GE Passport engine and Bombardier’s Smooth Flĕx Wing design, has more recently set records for the fastest flight from Los Angeles to New York City and from New York City to London and completed the longest flight ever out of London City Airport. (Bombardier notes the National Aeronautic Association has yet to make the records official.)

A Luxurious Cabin Environment

The Global 7500 is more than a record-breaking beast. It also has a lavish cabin with four true living spaces ideal for conducting business and relaxing afterward. The cabin’s numerous features include a full-size kitchen, award-winning Nuage seats with zero-gravity position, and the Soleil light system, which Bombardier says is the industry’s first circadian rhythm-based cabin lighting technology. The system is designed to combat jet lag through its Dynamic Daylight Simulation feature.

Customers can add a 55-inch 4K TV and the Bombardier l’Opéra audio system featuring seat-centric sound technology. Those focused only on work can opt for a 3-workspace Executive Cabin, the first open office cabin concept designed for corporate productivity. Only available on the Global 7500 and Global 8000, the cabin includes 12-foot (3.65-meter) Office Suite, Conference Suite, and C-Suite workspaces.
