Daher recently announced that steady growth in demand for the Kodiak business and adventure aircraft series in Asia has prompted it to appoint two new sales agents in the region. The new agents are Altair Business Aviation in Turkey and Forth Corporation in Thailand; they will supplement Daher’s existing presence in the region. In 2018, the family-owned Daher purchased Quest Aircraft, former manufacturer of Kodiak aircraft, including the high-wing Kodiak 100 Series II.
Cementing A Reputation
Paul Branham, Kodiak sales director for Asia, Europe, Middle East, and Africa, says Daher is confident the new sales agents will help “cement our reputation for best-in-class service and support across the multiple markets that the Kodiak attracts.”
Along with manufacturing aircraft, Daher is an aviation industry and service equipment supplier. As the heir to Morane-Saulneir formed in 1911, Daher claims to be the oldest aircraft manufacturer in operation. Today, the company has a presence in 13 countries.
Introduced in 2018 with numerous enhancements over the Kodiak 100 model, the single-engine Kodiak 100 Series II is designed to carry out a variety of mission types for corporate fleet owners, air taxi services, national parks, owner operators, backcountry outfitters, and air ambulance services. Daher has delivered 278 Kodiak aircraft to date. It also manufactures the “very fast” TBM 910 and 940 turboprops and celebrated the completion of 1,000th TBM plane on September 21.
