Executive aircraft manufacturer Bombardier and executive aviation services provider Jetex have announced they’re creating a world-class fixed-base operator (FBO) experience as part of a current expansion at Bombardier’s Singapore Service Centre at Seletar Aerospace Park in Singapore. The joint effort will represent Jetex’s fourth FBO experience in the Asia-Pacific region, and include ground-handling systems providing operators and passengers with “seamless service from arrival to departure.” Bombardier announced expansion plans for the Singapore service center last year as part of plans to enhance and expand its worldwide customer service network.

Meeting Rising Demand

Bombardier says Jetex’s status as an award-winning leader in executive aviation is well-earned, as the latter is known for delivering best-in-class trip support solutions to customers worldwide. In addition to private terminals, Jetex provides aircraft fueling, ground handling, and global trip planning that caters to corporate, commercial, and personal jet owners and operators.

“We’re optimistic about the possibilities for growth in the Asia Pacific region and very excited to be adding Singapore to our network,” says Jetex founder and CEO Adel Mardini. “In 2019, Singapore experienced very strong demand for private jets. They had an increase of 16% compared to 2018. So, we’re going to meet the rising demand with an exceptional FBO and exemplary operational support.”

Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

The partnership brings Bombardier’s Singapore Service Centre into Jetex’s global private terminal and ground handling network and gives Bombardier access to Jetex’s international flight planning and trip support services. Bombardier says with access to Jetex’s state-of-the-art Global Trip Manager platform, its ground handling staff will provide seamless aircraft services, security and baggage control, and real-time billing. Bombardier’s Singapore Service Centre expansion project, meanwhile, aims to transform the facility into a “high-capacity, one-stop-shop super center, offering customers a full gamut of services required throughout an aircraft’s life.”
