Bombardier is claiming that its 10-passenger Challenger 350 was the most-delivered aircraft in the super-midsize business jet segment for 2019, marking the sixth straight year the jet has earned the distinction. The Challenger 350 belongs to Bombardier’s Challenger 300 series, which at nearly 800 deliveries has tallied more deliveries since 2004 than any other business jet platform globally, Bombardier says.

An Unbeatable Combination

Bombardier delivered 56 Challenger 350s last year, good enough to grab a 44% slice of the super-midsize segment. In 2018, Bombardier delivered 60 units to capture a 58% market share. Bombardier launched the Challenger 350 in 2013 and entered it into service the next year. The company claims the aircraft is the “fastest business jet in history to reach 300 deliveries in the medium and large categories.” The Challenger 350 also recently headed up the Robb Report’s latest Annual Best of the Best list of top aircraft in the super-midsize category. Challenger 300-series models have won seven such awards overall.

Peter Likoray, Bombardier Business Aircraft senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, says the Challenger 350 gives customers a complete package of superior comfort, performance, reliability, and value. “This unbeatable combination is why, year after year, the Challenger 350 business jet continues to top the rankings as the world’s most-delivered super-midsize business aircraft, and why it remains the preferred choice of flight departments, individuals, and charter operators around the world,” he says.

Bombardier recently gave the jet numerous updates, including a performance improvement package that enables it to fly up to 1,500 nautical miles (2,778 kilometers) farther from short runways. That complements steep-approach certifications the jet has received from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, Federal Aviation Administration, and Transport Canada.
