Gulfstream is allowing customers to experience in person its all-new G700 business jet during a recently launched international tour of a full-scale mock-up of the jet’s cabin. Gulfstream introduced the 19-passenger G700, which incorporates the aerospace company’s Symmetry Flight Deck, in October at the 2019 NBAA-BACE (National Business Aviation Association—Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition). Deliveries of the flagship G700 are expected in 2022.
Spacious & Fast
The tour will make stops in Monterey, California, and Palm Beach, Florida, before touching down in Switzerland, France, and the U.K. in the spring. Gulfstream bills the G700 as the “most spacious business jet in the industry with the longest range at the highest speed.” The boast is based on the plane’s nearly 57-foot (17.4-meter) long by 6.3-foot (1.9-meter) tall cabin and 6,400-nautical mile (11,853-kilometer) range at Mach 0.90. The G700 also supports a 7,500-nm (13,890-km) range at Mach 0.85 and has a top operating speed of Mach 0.925.
Gulfstream President Mark Burns says the jet’s “compelling combination of technology and cabin innovation raises the bar for the business-jet industry.” He adds that no matter if customers prioritize cabin size and flexibility, speed, range, or flight-deck technology, “there is no need to compromise because the G700 delivers all that and more.”

With up to five possible living areas, the G700’s cabin features what Gulfstream says is the industry’s largest “ultragalley,” a passenger lounge or crew compartment, a bespoke master suite with shower, and a flexible space with six-place dining or conference table. In addition, the jet boasts 20 panoramic oval windows and the “most advanced and only true circadian lighting system in aviation.”
