In addition to gaining insight about the 19-passenger Bombardier Global 7500 business jet, attendees of Bombardier’s recent Maintenance and Operations Conference in late August in Florida learned more about the company’s current in-service activities, products, and program updates. “A resounding success” is how business jet and commercial aircraft manufacturer Bombardier described the 2019 M&O (Maintenance and Operations) USA Conference it held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in late August for customers and operators from around the globe. Designed to provide insight about Bombardier’s in-service activities, products, and program developments, the conference included information about the development of a new Bombardier Super Service Centre in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

Invaluable Information

Bombardier, maker of Learjet 75 Liberty, Challenger (350 and 650), and Global (5000, 5500, 6000, 6500, 7500, and 8000) business jets, reports that more than 125 customers and operators attended the two-day conference, taking in educational sessions and platform-specific technical and operations discussions. Attendees also learned about Bombardier’s Global 7500 business jet, a 19-passenger aircraft entered into service in December that the company says is “the world’s largest and longest-range business jet.”

Bombardier says the Florida-based M&O event is one of several it has planned this year to enhance customers’ knowledge of its in-service activities, products, and program-development updates. “In-depth customer-driven events such as these offer an essential channel to share important information about our products and services,” says Bombardier Business Aircraft Vice President and General Manager of Customer Experience Jean-Christophe Gallagher. “They are invaluable in helping us provide the best service experience possible.”

Bombardier Support At Work

The new 300,000-square-foot (27,870-square-meter) Super Service Centre in Miami is based at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport. Besides featuring expanded maintenance capabilities, the center will have the ability to perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modifications, avionics installations, and AOG (aircraft on ground) support for Bombardier Learjet, Challenger, and Global aircraft. Bombardier has also expanded its Seletar Aerospace Centre in Singapore, added new Line Maintenance Stations in Dubai and Biggin Hill near London, enhanced its U.S. and European MRT (Mobile Truck Response Team), and added a dedicated Challenger 300 MRT aircraft to its support stable.
